Ensure you get the full burning & scent experience from your candles by following a few simple steps outlined below.
Your first burn is the most important - Allow your candle to burn for approx. 2-3 hours or until the wax has melted across the surface and as close to the edge of the tumbler as possible. This will prevent tunnelling and promote an even wax melt that will maximise your burning time.
Trim the wick – If your wick is too long it will create over burning & produce excessive carbon (black soot). Before each use trim the wick to 6-7mm.
Do not let the candle burn for any longer than 4 hours at a time.
Our natural soy wax does not contain any chemical hardeners therefore hot weather may cause “sweating” (small beads on condensation on the surface), this will not affect the burning of your candle.
The candle should always be placed on a flat, heat resistant surface.
Never leave a burning candle unattended and out of reach from children and pets.
Keep the candle away from any flammable materials.
The lid provided may be used when not burning to avoid the surface collecting dust
Discontinue using when there is less than 1cm of wax remaining
Container Re-UseTo re-use & re-purpose the glass tumbler, fill it with hot water to melt any remaining wax and wipe out with paper towel. Rinse and wash with hot soapy water. Do not pour melted wax down the drain.
