This year has certainly given us the opportunity of time to tap into our creative side. While we have spent more time than ever before at home, it has left many of us realising that our home could use some sprucing up. Whether it has meant you simply added some new cushions to your bed to give it a refresh or you finally took the plunge to paint your front door a statement colour, there is definitely a great feeling of satisfaction in improving your homes appearance without spending thousands to do so.

During our "spell" at home I finally took the leap to design, organise and install that dream kitchen that I had been putting off for years. I extended my green thumb past my obsession with pot plants and planted a new garden at the front of my house. One month on and we have had no casualties, all plants seem to be alive and doing well. I also madeover my 14 year old daughters room from Lego chaos to the perfect oasis for every teen girl (of course the Lego had to stay, it's just a little more curated now).
